What, Why and Opening boxes

Many years ago I aquired my first iphone and then discovered photography and for many years after that explored and created. I shared my work online and in exhibitions both in this country and abroad.
My work was featured in publications and books, as a contributer and on my own.
The culmination of all my work was the Lost Toy Room, an ongoing series of photographs and short stories that explored an imagined space of a victorian Toy Room and the Toys within it brought to life.

For various reasons I stepped away from the project and Photography, knowing I would come back to it at some point and placing everything I had gathered into storage.
This year the door to the Lost Toy Room has started to rattle and the need to create and write and photography has finally returned

This blog will a new home for all of the Toys and their stories and a place for me to journal my endevours, not only in photography but expanding into sculpture and mixed media.

The core of my collected Dolls, vintage props and other ephemera, there are also several more boxes with old documents and paperwork as well as photographs and a  collection of Carte de Viste

The cast for most of my series so far, including Loki who started it all
